Vacation Rental Property Owners

www.dabuk.co.uk

Q. I am a property owner and I wish to use your service to market my vacation rental property. What will it cost me?
A. We only charge $179.00 a year (most properties rent for that or more per day!). We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express and your payments are 100% secure using PayPal. We will accept rental properties listings from any location in the world. We do not collect or charge a fee on any of your rental transactions.

Q. How should I arrange for the rental payment for my property?
A.
We recommend using PayPal as a first choice. Personal or certified check through the mail is probably the next best method unless you can accommodate online payments. Be clear about deposits, final payments, and cancellation and refund policies. A written agreement is best. MyCyberRental.com does not process rental payments.

Q. How should I arrange for the renters entry into the property?
A.
Make accurate reservation arrangements with the renter. Be clear about dates and times. Be aware of differing time zones. Provide clear directions to the property. Either meet them or send them the keys they will need as well as any pass code or pass keys to gated communities or parking facilities. If they will be long-term renters and will be forwarding their mail, they will also need the mailbox key if required. We suggest using a lock box on the home front door.

Q. What should I do to collect any taxes, security deposits, cleaning fees etc., that will apply to the rental property?
A.
It is best if you describe your fees in your listing and communicate these to your renter prior to occupancy. The total rental figure should include all applicable fees. You should check with your local government about what taxes you might need to collect.

Q. What can I do to increase my opportunities to rent my property more frequently?
A. Maintain your availability calendar. Do not confuse your customers or miss a potential rental due to an incorrect availability calendar. Reply to all inquiries in a timely fashion. Ensure that your rates are correct for the season in question. Make sure that your photos are up-to-date and accurately represent your property. Match your customer’s mental image of your property by providing winter photos with snow for a ski rental and summer photos for a summer rental.

Q. May I Provide Links To Other Web pages?
A. Yes, you may add a link to another site that has information about your rental. If you are listing more than one property, each of your properties will have a link to a page which displays summary information of all your properties listed with us and a link to each one.

Q. What does it cost?
A. The standard price for a listing on My Cyber Rental runs $179 ($US) for 12 months (That is just $.49 a day - if you think this is high... click here). We only charge the one fee, there are no hidden charges, no surprises. If you are listing multiple properties, substantial discounts do apply. Contact us with questions about our multiple property discounts.

Q. Do I need a credit card to sign up?

A. No, you do not need to use a credit card to list your vacation property on My Cyber Rental. At the time you create your vacation rental listing, if you would prefer to send payment by other means you can check that option, and then mail your payment to us. Our prefered method of payment is PayPal.com (You can pay using a credit card or check via PayPal). You can also call us to handle the billing of your listing. However, property listings will not go live on the site or be distributed to our partner sites until your payment has cleared.
